The Cookout is a small game about Black family traditions and celebrating local culture. And for the past year we've been prototyping and testing features ...but for a long time we didn't have an established artistic style or direction.

A few months ago, a special artist was recommended: Gideon. And his work speaks for itself. He's done an outstanding job the team vision to life, and he's developing a style thats true to the themes and the story. And it's always a breath of fresh air to work with artists who are passionate and inspiring.
