Becoming an apprentice requires commitment to learning the craft and few are up to the challenge. Our expert software engineers take you under their wing to teach you the tools of the trade.

Our apprentices are preparing to work after training and gain access to job opportunities within and outside the guild.

Getting Started

It starts by establishing your current technical skill level, which helps us determine your training schedule. It ranges between 10-20 weeks based on your level. All you have to do is show up on your start date.

Training Schedule

A typical training week is Monday - Thursday from 9am until 3pm.2 Training is project driven; each module you'll build new software with your instructor, receiving mentoring and professional guidance every step of the way.

The Path to Skill Mastery

Our training focuses on the key skills for becoming an excellent programmer: problem-solving, abstract thinking, and logic. And of course, you'll learn your primary tool, how to code. Coding is the easy part. Programming is challenging, but highly rewarding.

The training process is structured on the software life cycle. You'll go through each phase of planning, building and delivering your software to customers. You'll learn to test and receive code reviews. Our program is about helping you become a professional, so each day is another day building software.

Maybe someday, you'll run your own guild, continuing the tradition of passing down our craft to the next generation. Skill is earned, and preservation is crucial as technology becomes more complex. Programmers Guild is a community that shares your passion for tech and fosters an environment for apprentices to thrive within.

All members are entitled to a refund if you're not getting the skills and improvement promised.1 Those interested in getting started should call us to plan your visit to our workshop!
