SCHOOLS OUT! The Tech Workshop is ready and waiting for you to become more than just someone who uses the latest and greatest tech toys, to someone who can create your own technology!
This is a fun and engaging, hands-on tech workshop where learners will build computers AND learn to code! Participants earn the skills to participate in our digital world, while learning how to apply those skills to their own ambitious tech projects. We provide the training and mentoring to prepare youth for the next step in their career journey.
All skill levels welcome. This is an open workshop Monday-Thursday afternoons each school semester to provide a space for youth to explore technology. They'll learn the digital alchemy of coding to build web apps, nurture their creative ideas and protect themselves online.
The recommended age for this program is 13+. Our workshop is small, so space is limited! To support this after school program, you can become a youth sponsor. Call or visit us downtown! We love to get to know the members of our local community.
